Operation Paperback Drop Off Location
We have partnered with the Kendall Weekly Times and Operation Paperback and will be a Drop Off Location for the cause.
Operation Paperback collects gently used books and sends them to American troops deployed overseas. Since 1999, we have shipped over 1.1 million books to locations around the globe.
Many of our troops are serving far from home and living in facilities that provide few of the comforts of home. At the end of the duty day, the opportunity to escape into a good book is welcomed. Every week we receive thanks from troops who are glad to be appreciated and remembered.
Our service members make sacrifices every day for our country. It takes so little to let them know that we appreciate what they are doing for us. When you donate to Operation Paperback, you will let our troops know that you support them, and you have not forgotten them.
Operation Paperback is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, your donations to our organization are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Book Donation Wish List from the Sugar Grove Library
As part of National Library Week Old Towne Books & Tea will be collecting book and monetary donations for the Sugar Grove and Big Rock libraries. Both libraries currently do not have the funding necessary to purchase books for their respective library. Old Towne Books & Tea’s mission is to help promote literacy in our local and national communities. With this goal in mind we feel that it is a perfect time to begin collecting books. Our first scheduled book collection day with be Saturday April 13, 2010. Books will be collected either at the Oswego Lady’s Shop Day being held at the Oswego American Legion Hall on Washington St from 11am to 4pm or in store or during our Local Author Book Signing from 2pm to 6pm. Books will also be collected daily but persons donating books will be eligible to win prizes during our schedule donation events. Any one who purchase a book from our store to donate to the book donation drive will receive 10% off their total in-store purchase. Any author wishing to donate a copy or two of their book will be added to our “Supporting Authors List” which will be forwarded to our local newspapers for publication. Thank you and please help support this excellent cause. Below is the link to the list of requested books from the Sugar Grove Library.
